On a night when America paused to honor its heroes, the Arizona Diamondbacks put on a show of their own in the series opener against the Pittsburgh Pirates. Powered by Ryne Nelson's stellar outing, home runs by Eugenio SuĂĄrez and Josh Naylor, and clean defensive execution, the D-backs shut out the Pirates 5-0 at Chase Field on Memorial Day in front of 25,697 fans.
