The victory marked a milestone for Wood Brothers Racing, securing their 101st career win, and made Berry the first driver to earn his maiden Cup win at Las Vegas.

​Intense Battles from the Green Flag

The race began with Michael McDowell on the pole, alongside Joey Logano. The leaders ran side-by-side for the first two laps before Logano surged ahead on Lap 2.

Early Race Incidents and Pit Road Penalties
The first caution waved on Lap 34 after Chase Briscoe lost a wheel exiting pit road, resulting in a two-lap penalty. Denny Hamlin and Kyle Busch both received speeding penalties on pit road, dropping to the back of the field.

At the Lap 43 restart, Austin Cindric took control, with Alex Bowman closely behind. Cindric held on to claim Stage 1 on Lap 80, becoming the ninth different stage winner of the season.

Stage 2: Kyle Larson Takes Command
The second stage saw multiple lead changes. Kyle Larson passed Bubba Wallace on Lap 100 before a caution on Lap 108 for a spin by Shane Van Gisbergen. The pit road scramble led to Bubba Wallace winning the race off pit road.

However, a restart crash on Lap 113 saw Kyle Busch hit the outside wall after losing a wheel. After repairs, he returned to the track multiple laps down.

Stage 2 ended with Larson claiming victory on Lap 163, making him the first repeat stage winner this season.

Final Stage: Chaos, Strategy, and a Historic Win
The final stage saw intense action. A wreck on Lap 188 involved Cody Ware, bringing out another caution.

Pit strategy played a huge role, with Ross Chastain, Erik Jones, and Denny Hamlin opting for two tires. Chastain took the lead on Lap 153, but William Byron and Kyle Larson quickly regained control.

On Lap 230, Daniel Suarez took the lead, only for Josh Berry to surge ahead on Lap 234. Joey Logano momentarily grabbed the lead on Lap 237 but was told to save fuel, impacting his chances.

Late-Race Drama and Berry’s Victory
A Lap 243 caution for Noah Gragson bunched up the field for a final restart on Lap 245. Daniel Suarez, Josh Berry, and Ross Chastain battled fiercely before Berry seized the lead with 13 laps to go, holding on to capture his first career NASCAR Cup Series win.
