The Craftsman Truck Series rolled into Homestead-Miami Speedway for the Baptist Health 200, a 134-lap, 201-mile showdown under the South Florida sun. With three stages set to end at laps 30, 60, and 134 respectively, fans were treated to a dramatic mix of domination, adversity, and one unforgettable comeback.

Heim vs. Larson: The Early Duel
Polesitter Corey Heim and Tanner Gray led the field to green, but it didn’t take long for chaos to erupt. On lap one, Giovanni Ruggiero—starting from sixth—spun into Ben Rhodes heading into Turn 1, bringing out the first caution flag before the race even found rhythm.

​On the lap 7 restart, Heim and Kyle Larson resumed the front-row battle, trading leads multiple times before Heim locked down Stage One, marking his 20th career stage win—becoming just the sixth driver in series history to reach that milestone. He was followed by Larson, Layne Riggs, Ty Majeski, and Ross Chastain in the top five.

Heim Sweeps the Stages
Despite strong pit stops by Larson and others, Heim once again won the race off pit road and kept his momentum alive. In Stage Two, he held off Larson and swept both stages—an impressive feat considering no driver in series history had ever won the pole, both stages, and the race at Homestead.

The top ten finishers in Stage Two were: Heim, Larson, Majeski, Stewart Friesen, Kaden Honeycutt, Riggs, Chastain, Tyler Ankrum, Daniel Hemric, and Grant Enfinger.

Final Stage Madness
As the green flag flew for the final stage, Heim again jumped out front—until Ross Chastain muscled past him on lap 71, becoming just the third driver to lead a lap.

With 47 laps remaining, Heim reclaimed the lead, but trouble was brewing. A caution flew when Layne Riggs made contact with Larson, spinning the No. 7 truck. Larson was forced to restart at the back, while Heim again led the field off pit road.

Then came the twist—Kaden Honeycutt was penalized for pit interference, pushing him to the back, and Chastain retook the lead on lap 95. The back-and-forth between Chastain, Riggs, and Heim kept fans on edge, but Larson was far from done.

Larson’s Comeback Begins
Despite restarting deep in the field, Kyle Larson charged through like a man on a mission, gaining 15 spots and showing unmatched speed.

Meanwhile, Heim began suffering electrical issues, with his truck shutting off multiple times. Somehow, he managed to reset systems and continue to battle near the front. With 12 laps remaining, he even retook the lead—but it wouldn’t last.

With 4 laps to go, Heim's truck lost power again. Riggs surged to the lead, but just a lap later, Larson completed his comeback, taking the lead with 3 laps remaining and never looking back.

The Finish
Larson crossed the line first to capture his fourth career Truck Series victory, and his third win in his last five starts. He was followed by Riggs in second and Heim—who led a race-high 78 laps—in third.
