SAN FRANCISCO, CA — November 4, 2025. The Phoenix Suns fell 118–107 to the Golden State Warriors on Tuesday night at the Chase Center, undone by another slow start and a dominant Golden State bench that poured in 63 points.

The Suns entered the night looking to shake off their early-season struggles, but the Warriors wasted no time taking control. Golden State opened the game on an 11–0 run and buried seven threes in the first quarter, forcing Phoenix to play catch-up from the opening tip. By halftime, the Suns trailed 68–49 as the Warriors shot a blistering 49% from the field and 45% from deep.

Phoenix battled back in the third behind Devin Booker, who torched Golden State for 38 points on 13-of-24 shooting and a perfect 11-of-11 from the free throw line. A 20–6 Suns run cut the deficit to single digits entering the fourth quarter, but Golden State’s depth proved too much to overcome.

Stephen Curry led the Warriors with 28 points and five threes, while Moses Moody delivered a spark off the bench with 24 points. Quinten Post added 14 more as part of the Warriors’ second-unit barrage. The Suns’ bench, meanwhile, managed just 19 points, highlighting one of the biggest gaps of the night.

Phoenix’s bright spots included Mark Williams, who grabbed 16 rebounds to go along with 16 points, and Grayson Allen, who added 16 points and 5 assists. The Suns actually won the rebounding battle 46–39 but couldn’t capitalize due to 17 turnovers and too many open looks allowed from beyond the arc.

Despite cutting the lead to eight late in the fourth, the Suns couldn’t complete the comeback. The Warriors closed strong behind clutch shooting and free throws to secure the 11-point victory.

The loss drops Phoenix to 3–5 overall and 0–4 on the road, while Golden State improves to 5–3 and remains unbeaten at home. Head coach Mike Ott praised the team’s fight but admitted that early defensive lapses remain a problem: “We can’t spot great teams double-digit leads and expect to climb out every time.”
