The Diamondbacks now head on the road for six games against Atlanta and Boston.

Rookie Noémie Brochant delivered a breakout 24-point performance as the Phoenix Mercury erased a late deficit and closed the game on a 16-6 run to defeat the Los Angeles Sparks 94-87 on August 11, 2026. Alyssa Thomas added 16 points, seven rebounds and nine assists as Phoenix snapped a three-game losing streak despite committing 24 turnovers.
Carroll, Marte Homer but Diamondbacks Fall 3-2 to Rockies
Corbin Carroll and Ketel Marte launched first-inning home runs to give Arizona an early lead, but the Diamondbacks couldn't add on as Colorado rallied for a 3-2 victory Tuesday night at Chase Field. Kyle Karros tied the game with a two-run homer in the sixth before Mickey Moniak's sacrifice fly gave Colorado the lead in the seventh. The loss evened the three-game series at one game apiece and sends the Diamondbacks into Wednesday afternoon's rubber match looking to bounce back.

Nolan Arenado launched a first-inning grand slam, Gabriel Moreno collected three hits and the Arizona Diamondbacks pitching staff shut out the Colorado Rockies 9-0 Monday night at Chase Field. Arizona improved to 64-56 with the victory and continued its push in the National League Wild Card race.
Diamondbacks Beat Dodgers 4-2 to Win Statement Series Over Los Angeles
The Arizona Diamondbacks defeated the Los Angeles Dodgers 4-2 on August 9, 2026, to win a pivotal three-game series at Chase Field and secure their first regular-season series victory over Los Angeles since 2018. Eduardo Rodriguez dominated with seven strong innings and nine strikeouts, Ketel Marte delivered the decisive two-run home run, and Kevin Ginkel closed the door with a perfect ninth inning. The Phoenix Mercury fell 95-75 to the Washington Mystics on August 9, 2026, after a competitive opening quarter gave way to a dominant Washington performance. Phoenix trailed only 21-20 after the first but was outscored 52-31 across the second and third quarters. Shakira Austin recorded 19 points and 11 rebounds, while Sonia Citron added 19 points on efficient shooting. The victory gave Washington a franchise-record seventh consecutive win and dropped Phoenix to 12-22.
